Mission StatementThe mission of the Eau Claire County Off Campus School is to provide an opportunity for credit deficient high school age students to secure their high school diploma.
PhilosophyEach student has a fresh start each semester regardless of past performance or actions.Students should be met where they are, and challenged to move forward academically, socially, and emotionally. Building self esteem is a primary goal of the Eau Claire County Off Campus School. Each student and staff member deserves to be treated with respect and confidentiality. School should be a pleasant, safe, and fun place to be.
Students frequently need assistance in learning to locate and utilize appropriate sources of assistance to meet their physical survival and safety needs.
Students should be assisted in discovering options and in learning appropriate decision making skills through appropriate questions, rather than through directive answers.
Many of the behaviors which cause students trouble at school are the very behaviors that have allowed them to cope and survive in their out-of-school environment. We operate from a consumer perspective and strive to provide excellent customer service. We plant seeds and harvest what others planted.
